Micronutrient Analysis Facilities:

Establishing facilities in district Soil and Water Testing Labs across Punjab (2022-23 to 2023-24).

Research & Development in Fruit Crops:

Developing a Fruit Research Institute in Bahawalpur, South Punjab (2021-22 to 2023-24).

Centre of Excellence for Olive Research & Training (CEFORT): 

Established at BARI Chakwal (2018-19 to 2023-24)..

Cotton Research Enhancements: 

Strengthening cotton research in Southern Punjab with a new Cotton Research Sub-Station in Rajanpur (2019-20 to 2023-24).

Blackberry and Groundnut Research:

Expanding research programs to promote agri-business in the Barani Region of Punjab (2022-23 to 2024-25).

Date Palm and Papaya Research:

Upscaling research at the Date Palm Research Sub-Station in Jhang and improving varietal management for papaya to combat the Papaya Leaf Curl Virus (2022-23 to 2024-25).

Strengthening Research Activities:

Enhancing research efforts by providing necessary facilities at research institutes (2022-23 to 2024-25).

Pulse Crop Research:

Focusing on the production of early-generation seeds of mash and lentils to decrease pulse imports (2022-23 to 2026-27).

Vegetable Resilience Development:

Creating hybrids and open-pollinated varieties in vegetables that are resilient to climate change (2019-20 to 2023-24).

Improving Research Infrastructure:

Upgrading facilities at the Agriculture Department’s Research Wing Institutes (2021-22 to 2023-24).

Fodder Germplasm Development: 

Exchanging and developing fodder genetic material resistant to biotic and abiotic stresses (2021-22 to 2023-24).

Provision of Laboratory and Field Equipment:

Supplying equipment and machinery to the Agriculture Department’s Research Wing Institutes (2021-22 to 2022-23).
